Supply Chain Planning Analyst

General Purpose:

The Benelli USA Supply Chain team plays an important role for our organization in driving service level improvements to our customers through collaborative planning, forecasting and replenishment.


As the Supply Chain Planning Analyst, you will be responsible for building supply plans that ensure Benelli USA has adequate supply to meet demand to achieve and maintain best-in-class service levels for all brands to ensure the right product, is in the right place at the right time in the right quantities to meet organization mission.


Delivering data-driven insights that improve operational efficiency, inventory performance, and working capital across the supply chain. This role bridges supply chain operations, sales planning, finance, and procurement to ensure decisions are supported by accurate analytics, supply forecasting, and inventory optimization models.


You'll get to:

Supply Chain Analytics

• Develop and maintain dashboards and analytics supporting inventory, stock planning
• Analyze supply chain data to identify efficient opportunities:
  • Monitor inventory turns, open to buy, back orders, and stock availability and positioning

Supply/Stock Planning

• Support the Sales & Operations Planningprocess
• Analyze historical demand and forecast accuracy impacting supply planning
• Provide scenario modeling to evaluate supply risks, demand shifts, or market disruptions
• Develop 18-month Supply Planning Models.
• Create and submit purchase orders.
• Maintain critical inventory parameters for Target & Safety Stock of finished goods, while considering supply lead time, warehouse, and transportation constraints.
• Coordinate and facilitate the monthly Demand/Supply Review meetings; act as Process Owner of this meeting to ensure the process is an integral part of the planning and control process.

Inventory Optimization

• Monitor slow-moving and obsolete inventory exposure
• Support initiatives aimed at maintaining optimal stock levels for core SKUs

Supply Chain Performance Monitoring - Track KPIs such as:

• Inventory turns
• Back Order fulfillment rates
• ABC inventory stocking requirements

Cross-Functional Collaboration - Partner with:

• Procurement
• Sales
• Finance
• Logistics

Key Deliverables

• Executive performance reports
• Inventory risk and optimization analysis
• Forecast accuracy reporting
• Supply chain cost modeling
• S&OP planning support
• Data-driven recommendations for operational improvements

Performance Measurements & Targets

• Forecasting of inventory levels and turns (4-6 turns).
• Forecast Bias +/- 5%
  • Forecast Accuracy (75%-85%)
• Months of Stock (8 - 14 weeks)
• Excess and Obsolete Inventory rate <2%
• Backorder Rate % (<5%)
• Supply Chain Cost per Unit

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in logistics and supply chain management, data analytics or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years of dynamic and successful Supply Chain experience with strong and sustained performance, preferably in supply planning, inventory, or order management.
• Must be proficient with ERP planning and tools.
• Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., JDE, SAP, Oracle)
• Experience with business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau )
• Experience with international manufacturers and/or vendors is preferred.
