Senior Underwriter

Lead Cyber Underwriter / Senior Cyber Underwriter Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Cyber Underwriter or Senior Cyber Underwriter to join a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will thrive in a high-volume underwriting environment, possess exceptional broker relationship-building skills, and demonstrate a strong commitment to achieving profitability and growth objectives. Compensation Package Base Salary: $126,000 – $184,000 (flexibility for exceptional candidates; candidates up to $195,000 will be considered) Bonus: Approximately 15% target bonus, discretionary based on company and individual performance Additional Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, and more Responsibilities Underwrite and manage Cyber business within the Midwest territory, focusing on small and middle-market accounts. Handle both new business and renewal underwriting. Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, particularly in the Chicago area. Market carrier capabilities to brokers and actively participate in business development activities. Manage a high-volume underwriting environment while maintaining profitability and achieving growth objectives. Collaborate with underwriting leadership and teammates across multiple offices. Travel approximately 25% for broker meetings and business development. Qualifications / Requirements Minimum of 3 years of Cyber underwriting experience. Proven ability to handle both new business and renewals. Strong book management and underwriting discipline in a high-volume environment. Experience working with middle-market accounts, typically ranging from $150M to $1B in revenue. Excellent broker marketing and relationship-building skills. Strong customer service and communication abilities. Tech E&O experience is a plus but not required. Established broker relationships in the Midwest, particularly in Chicago, are highly preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
