Latitude is partnering with a law firm in Louisville, KY seeking an experienced litigation paralegal for a full‑time engagement role starting immediately and lasting throughout the end of the year. In this position, you’ll play a critical role in trial preparation and providing hands‑on support throughout the trial through the end of the year. From managing exhibits and coordinating witnesses to handling last‑minute filings and courtroom logistics, you’ll be an essential part of an all‑hands‑on‑deck team that requires on‑site availability in Louisville, KY. Basic Requirements For The In-House Litigation Paralegal Proven experience supporting attorneys through trial preparation and in‑trial execution, including managing exhibits, witness materials, and courtroom logistics for complex litigation matters. Ability to commit to an intensive workload, particularly August–December. Demonstrated skill in case management and organization under pressure, with the ability to handle high‑volume, fast‑paced, “all‑hands‑on‑deck” environments. Proficiency in trial technology and litigation tools (e‑discovery platforms, exhibit databases, presentation software used in court). Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a willingness to take on varied responsibilities and adapt quickly to evolving trial needs. Position Details Type of role: Contract Engagement Schedule: Approximately 40 hours per week Location: Onsite in Louisville, KY (hybrid) Compensation Pay: The annualized pay for this position ranges from $90,000 to $105,000 when calculated on a full‑time basis. Pay for contract engagements is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market supply/demand, and the candidate’s preference (each candidate’s pay rate affects the client bill rate which can affect the candidate’s competitiveness for the position). Benefits: In addition to pay, all Latitude attorneys and other legal professionals working on contract engagements receive complimentary professional liability insurance coverage for work or acts or omissions provided within the scope of a Latitude‑authorized engagement. All Latitude employees (including those on contract engagements) are also eligible for full benefits when working 20+ hours per week, including group medical, dental, and vision insurance, and complimentary group life, LTD and AD&D insurance. A qualified 401k plan is also available. Benefits‑eligible Latitude Attorneys also receive a CLE and Professional Expense stipend.
