Responsibilities Generate new customer qualified sales leads by identifying and developing new business opportunities through prospecting cold calling, organizational affiliations, referrals, mailers, social media, etc. Work closely and collaboratively with the Sales Manager and Sales Representatives to develop and implement appropriate prospecting strategies Identify, assess, and initiate contact with potential customers Conduct high volume prospecting to be defined to qualify leads through calls, emails, and social media Schedule opportunity leads/assessments and discovery meetings to further assess a prospect's business and potential for partnership. Meet the weekly sales activity goal phone calls, contacts made, qualified leads set, marketing mailers sent out Conduct needs qualification calls with specific prospects as assigned Collaborate with the sales team to qualify and engage target customers Utilize prospecting and research tools including email, phone and social media, lists, etc. and coordinate with assigned reps to qualify opportunities Regularly maintain and enter activity to track campaign effectiveness.
