Our ideal candidate will be engaged, authentic, and prepared to create a "best in class" apartment community!As the Maintenance Service Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining the overall operation of the maintenance department and the appearance and working order of the apartment community.Salary: $75k plus a quarterly bonus!Job DescriptionDaily supervision of Maintenance staff members including delegation of work orders, special projects and time management techniquesInspection and oversight of existing and completed work ordersHVAC, Boiler, plumbing, electrical, appliance and all other service requestsMentoring and training new and existing maintenance staff membersInvolvement with interviewing and selection of new maintenance team membersProvides written monthly energy management recommendations for the buildingIdentifies capital improvements and obtain required estimates/bidsAssists in budget preparation for maintenance expensesQualificationsExperience in a hotel, apartment, hospital maintenance/engineering with 2 years supervisory experience leading a team.Excellent customer service and computer skills.Ability to create a team, mentor and train a teamExtensive knowledge of plumbing systems, appliances, water heaters, chillers/boilers and H.V.A.C.Proven track record managing a preventative maintenance program and experience with capital projects.Village Green offers exciting and challenging career opportunities for talented passionate people seeking growth.
