Senior Accounting Manager

We are seeking an experienced and analytical finance leader. In this key role, you will work closely with corporate leadership to oversee financial operations, optimize internal controls, and drive business decision-making through precise reporting and operational analysis. Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA or active CPA track preferred.

• Experience: 5 to 8+ years of progressive accounting experience with a  background in financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls.

• Technical Skills: Advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities required (pivot tables, complex formulas, modeling); Excel certification is a plus. Thorough command of GAAP standards and audit schedule preparation.

• Soft Skills: Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting & General Ledger: Oversee end-to-end month-end closing schedules, post routine and complex journal entries, and prepare full-set GAAP-compliant financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flows, Equity).

• Operational & Cost Analysis: Analyze product/service profitability, track pricing factors, evaluate unit/entity-level financial statements, and deliver custom ad-hoc reporting to support strategic executive decisions.

• Process Improvement & Strategy: Partner with finance leadership to identify operational efficiencies, propose process enhancements, and maintain robust internal control frameworks.

• Budgeting & Audit Readiness: Assist in building annual budgets, analyze budget-vs-actual variances, manage monthly bank and inventory reconciliations, and prepare supporting schedules for annual external audits.
