Work Environment

This full-time position requires on-site engagement at our home care facility, where you will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities

• Treat on average 7 patients daily in an outpatient setting, utilizing an array of therapeutic modalities.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical capabilities and limitations through evidence-based assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that are tailored to meet the goals of each patient, ensuring optimal recovery.
• Apply advanced rehabilitation techniques, including but not limited to manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
• Educate patients about their conditions, treatment options, and home exercise programs that ensure continued progress beyond therapy sessions.
• Document patient progress and treatment modifications in compliance with clinical standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare specialists to coordinate comprehensive care plans for patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse population of outpatient clients, including those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal disorders. Your role is pivotal in helping patients regain mobility and strength through tailored rehabilitation strategies that honor their individual recovery stories.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New York.
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• Strong understanding of orthopedic conditions, rehabilitation practices, and evidence-based methodologies.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient rehabilitation setting is highly desirable.
• Proven success in developing and implementing effective treatment plans for a variety of patient populations.
• Experience with electronic health records systems for documenting patient care and progress.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary in the range of $100,000 – $120,000 per year , commensurate with experience and qualifications.
