Phlebotomist
Labcorp
Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for its Pembroke, North Carolina location to perform blood collections, process specimens, and provide patient services. The role operates Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, with opportunities for growth and a performance-based bonus plan.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests
- Enter patient information and maintain specimen logs accurately
- Process billing and collect payments when required
- Prepare specimens for testing and provide customer service
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program
- Minimum 6 months phlebotomy experience or certification
- Pass standardized color blindness test
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in team environments
