Hospitalist NP/PA Locums Nags Head, NC
A hospitalist program in Nags Head, North Carolina is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for locums coverage. This role focuses on admissions, consults, and co-management of ED holds and admitted patients.
Opportunity Details: Coverage Dates: May 4 Sept 4 (potential extension)
Schedule: Sunday Thursday, 2 PM 10 PM
Facility: The Outer Banks Health Hospital
Established hospitalist team with 2 physicians & 4 APPs
Average census: 17-21 patients
Daily patient volume per APP: 8-10
Admissions per shift: 4-6 (day), 5-7 (night)
No critical care responsibilities
Codes response required (but no ED coverage)
Consult on ED holds, but no backup duties
