Supply Chain-Material Planner

You'll play a key role in defining, implementing, and adopting cross-functional processes and associated tools for Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality, and Finance functions across regions and sites. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (such as Supply Chain, Procurement, and IS&T teams), lead the development of standards and processes, ensure alignment between new processes and tools, and much more.
You'll specifically take care of deploying new core tools and ensuring their efficient application, but also providing sustainable support to sites, including technical training and key user skill development.
We'll look to you for:
- Leading the definition of standards, processes, instructions, and associated tools for cross-functional processes such as “Source to Procure,” “Procure to Pay,” “Receipt to Deliver,” and “Plan to Manufacture.”
- Analyzing the IT landscape and contributing to the development of the IT strategic roadmap to deliver target processes.
- Providing regions and sites with standard methods and IS&T tools to support overall Supply Chain processes.
- Driving the deployment of new core tools and ensuring their proper and efficient application.
- Validating the alignment between new processes and available tools.
- Planning and conducting regular reports and reviews to monitor adherence and report performance (Key Performance Indicators) of processes and tools.
- Coordinating troubleshooting and resolution of systems and interface issues in collaboration with the IS&T team.
- Supporting mobilization requests from regions/sites or other Alstom departments.
- Conducting continuous technology monitoring and contributing to the definition of digital operations within and between Alstom sites.
All about you
- Degree in Business or Engineering with a focus on Supply Chain.
- Advanced SAP knowledge in the assigned scope for Supply Chain.
- Experience or understanding of Alstom Global Single Instance (SAP ECC6) core model (preferred).
- At least 5 years of experience in Supply Chain and information flow management.
- Hands-on knowledge and experience in warehouse and material planning (minimum 5 years).
- Strong problem-solving skills.

- Fluency in English.
- Availability to support international sites and travel at least one week per month.

Bilingualism
Proficiency in French and English is required. Knowledge of a third language is considered an asset when working with our international partners, suppliers, colleagues, and customers. In Quebec, French remains the primary working language of our company.
Responsibilities
- Lead the definition of standards, processes and instructions and associated tools for one or more of the cross-

- Support mobilizations requests from Regions/Sites or other Alstom departments on the assigned domain

Educational Requirement:
- Initial Background: Business or Engineering school graduation with Supply Chain orientation
- Advanced SAP knowledge in the assigned scope for Supply Chain.
- Languages: English fluent
- Availability to support international sites and travel + at least 1 week per month.
Experience:
