Technical Sales Representative

Based in Gary, Indiana, we serve steel & aluminum producers, service centers, and manufacturers/OEMs with a custom-designed coil coating line. Chemcoaters offers unique, environmentally-friendly coil-coatings aimed at solving complicated manufacturing challenges. We specialize in; cleaning & retreating, formability and corrosion resistance.

Role Description

This is a full-time roll based out of Chemcoaters' Gary, IN location. Successful technical reps are able to develop new accounts & grow relationships with existing customers. Teammates learn our specialty products & processes best when physically present in the office; this role is in-person but will be expanded to allow some WFH after 6 months.

Activities include;

• Cold calling & building relationships with existing customers
• Traveling to customer sites & trade shows, 10-25%
• Market & customer research
• Conflict resolution
• Quote preparation and negotiation
• Other admin projects for Company management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred, Associate degree also OK.
• Driver's license & ability to travel.
