Medical Receptionist

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Medical Receptionist to join a busy outpatient cardiology practice. This person will serve as the first point of contact for patients, managing check-in/check-out processes, scheduling appointments, handling incoming calls, verifying insurance information, and supporting overall front office operations. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and has strong customer service and organizational skills.

Skills and Requirements

2+ years of front desk, medical reception, or patient access experience

Cardiology or specialty clinic experience

Experience answering high-volume phone calls

Knowledge on insurance

High volume scheduling and appointment management experience

Strong customer service skills

Experience working with EHR systems

Strong computer skills and attention to detail Experience with Phreesia

Insurance verification experience

Experience collecting copays or patient payments
