Radiologic Technologist

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team, providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services in a fast-paced pediatric acute care and trauma center environment. Key Responsibilities Perform diagnostic CT scans according to physician orders and established protocols. Prepare patients for CT examinations, ensuring comfort and safety. Operate CT scanning equipment, including Siemens CT scanners. Monitor patients during procedures, responding to any changes in condition. Ensure the proper functioning of CT scanner equipment and report any issues. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the EMR system. Adhere to all safety, infection control, and HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care. Schedule / Shift 7-day block schedule. Specific shift: Thursday 0700-1900, Friday 0700-1900, Saturday 0700-1900, Sunday 0700-1900, Monday 0900-1900, Tuesday 0900-1900, Wednesday 0900-1900. Weekends are required. Required Qualifications Valid Texas (TX) CT Technologist license. Strong knowledge of Siemens CT scanner operation. Experience working in a pediatric acute care and trauma setting is preferred. Certifications Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification may be required. Experience Previous experience as a CT Technologist. Pediatric acute care and trauma experience is preferred. Skills Proficiency in operating CT scanning equipment. Excellent patient assessment and care skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy. EMR / Systems Experience with EMR charting systems. Patient Population Pediatric patients. Unit / Specialty Children's Hospital / Level II Pediatric Trauma Center. Floating / On-Call No floating between units. No on-call required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
