Overview Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (L&D) is needed for a travel assignment in Portland, Oregon. Start date 09/14/2026 for a 13-week contract. Weekly pay range is $2,327 to $2,505 per week, with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shift: 3x12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM–7:30 PM). Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital. This assignment requires current RN licensure in the state of practice and specialized obstetric nursing credentials. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,327–$2,505 per week Guaranteed hours: 36 per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3x12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM–7:30 PM) Start date: 09/14/2026 Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital travel assignment EPIC experience required Responsibilities Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of L&D patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process Monitor maternal and fetal status, respond to changes, and provide appropriate interventions during labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period Administer medications and ensure accurate documentation and medication safety Collaborate with physicians, nurse midwives, and the broader care team to coordinate patient care and discharge planning Supervise and direct activities of licensed and unlicensed staff as assigned, delegating duties to ensure safe, efficient care Maintain thorough documentation in the electronic medical record and educate patients and families about care plans and newborn care Requirements Active RN license in the state of practice (Oregon) At least two years of recent RN experience in the field BLS/CPR certification; facility-specific requirement: AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS certification required EPIC electronic medical record experience required BSN degree preferred Benefits and Support Dedicated support from a travel-focused recruitment team throughout the assignment Credentialing and onboarding assistance Ongoing clinical support and resources during the assignment Access to standard travel assignment services and benefits through the recruiting organization PAY DISCLAIMER RULE: Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
