Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) Night Shift

Schedule

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:30 - 08:00) including every other weekend and holidays as required.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) to join our night shift team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care for patients experiencing acute and emergent health issues.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive patient care for conditions including chest pain, stroke, sepsis, and trauma.
Monitor vital signs and manage medications and treatments in a fast-paced environment.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Support and educate patients and families regarding diagnoses and treatment plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 4 years of nursing experience with 3 years in emergency care preferred.
Epic experience required; travel experience is a plus.
Active RN license in Maryland or Compact License.
Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, CPI, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC are required.
