About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Operating Officer (COO) with a strong background in food service management to lead the operational and financial performance of the organization. The successful candidate will be tasked with putting the company's strategy into practice, ensuring operational excellence, and maintaining the brand's promise across all markets. This role requires a leader with a proven track record in multi-unit, multi-market operations, full P&L accountability, and a deep understanding of customer retention and executive-level relationship management. The COO will be responsible for driving operational and financial performance, championing customer partnerships, and fostering a culture of integrity, accountability, and continuous improvement. Applicants for the COO position at the company should have at least 20 years of progressive leadership experience in a related service business, with a focus on contract food service, hospitality, or dining services. The role demands a leader with a strong command of budgeting, forecasting, and financial management, as well as experience in culinary operations, procurement, and supply chain. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to lead change initiatives, establish operating systems, and drive continuous improvement. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, with a preference for an advanced degree or professional certifications. The COO must be a strategic partner to the CEO, with the ability to mentor and develop a high-performing operations team, and be willing to travel regularly to various locations.
