They have a joint center of excellence on this unit. They see hip, knee, shoulder replacements. They also see a lot of general surgery cases; appy's, exploratory laps, hernias, etc. They take medical patients as well that require telemetry. Age range spans and treat diseases of all ages adolescents to elderly.
