Role Overview

Apply your Bengali language expertise to help improve next-generation AI systems through detailed audio evaluations and clear linguistic feedback. This remote contractor role focuses on assessing how naturally and accurately Bengali is spoken, with no prior AI experience required.

Key Responsibilities

• Listen to Bengali audio clips and evaluate speaker or model-output fluency and native-level naturalness.
• Assess pronunciation, intonation, and linguistic authenticity using established guidelines.
• Document evaluations in clear, concise English, identifying relevant linguistic factors.
• Provide detailed reasoning for each assessment to support consistent, understandable results.
• Work with project coordinators to clarify requirements and resolve ambiguities in language content.
• Share insights that support stronger Bengali language understanding and generation in AI systems.
• Complete assigned audio-review tasks accurately, on time, and to a high quality standard.

Qualifications

• Native-level Bengali proficiency, including strong spoken and written skills.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher, with strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to explain nuanced language differences clearly.
• Background in voice specialization, linguistics, phonetics, music or audio engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience with audio analysis, transcription, or linguistic assessment is highly valued.
• Familiarity with media, communications, or teaching is an asset.

Work Terms

• Remote independent contractor engagement.

Compensation

• $30 to $65 per hour.
