Role Overview In this role, you will use your clinical expertise to assess patients, implement and evaluate nursing care plans, and collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to support optimal patient outcomes. Assignments may include medical‑surgical, telemetry, step‑down, rehab, post‑acute, and long‑term care settings, depending on your experience, preferred practice areas, and our client needs. You will be responsible for monitoring patient conditions, administering medications and treatments, documenting care thoroughly in the electronic medical record, and educating patients and families about diagnoses, procedures, medications, and discharge instructions. Administer IV and oral medications safely and manage lines and drains per facility policy. Provide wound care, respiratory support, and mobility assistance as needed. Participate in interdisciplinary rounds, contribute to discharge planning, and help coordinate care transitions. Act as a key member of the care team, escalating concerns promptly and responding effectively to urgent and emergent situations.
