Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a comprehensive range of ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety by clearly explaining procedures with empathy and patience.
• Work closely alongside radiologists and referring physicians to deliver high-quality diagnostic imagery.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, addressing any malfunction issues swiftly.
• Meticulously document procedures and manage patient records in our electronic medical system.
• Stay abreast of developments in ultrasound technology to provide the best patient care.

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline.
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred.

Certifications Required

• Active certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or similar.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred.
