Position Overview We are seeking a determined and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to join our expanding imaging team dedicated to providing outstanding patient care. You will leverage cutting-edge ultrasound technology to conduct diagnostic procedures, working in tandem with a unified team of medical professionals to provide patients with peace of mind through precise and timely imaging. Description of Responsibilities
- Conduct a comprehensive range of ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety by clearly explaining procedures with empathy and patience.
- Work closely alongside radiologists and referring physicians to deliver high-quality diagnostic imagery.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, addressing any malfunction issues swiftly.
- Meticulously document procedures and manage patient records in our electronic medical system.
- Stay abreast of developments in ultrasound technology to provide the best patient care.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline.
- Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred.
- Active certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or similar.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred.
- Strong technical expertise in sonographic imaging procedures and patient positioning.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently and seamlessly integrate into a multidisciplinary team.
