Essential Functions Record and apply customer cash receipts Prepare bank deposits Proactively work collections via regular statement distribution and customer inquiries Work with customers to resolve questions and provide information upon request Assist in tracking and proper application of customer purchase orders Payroll preparation & processing Duties and Responsibilities Customer and vendor account reconciliations Assist with subledger to GL reconciliations Support monthly close activities including GL adjustment review, reconciliation, and reporting to complete financial statements Other duties as assigned Required Job Specifications Bachelor's Degree in Accounting with minimum 2 years of directly related experience Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience preferred Payroll experience preferred High attention to detail Strong organizational and analytical skills Excellent verbal communication skills Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite software Optional / Desired Qualifications Experience supporting team with commercial and government contracts Familiarity with IT services contracts and/or products Superior communication skills Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Export Control Notice This position may involve access to information subject to U.S. export control laws, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time. The person in this position will often move about inside the office to escort visitors, deliver packages to addressees, etc. Occasionally operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a copy machine, and computer printer.
