Assistant Accountant

Our client is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join their finance team, supporting operations remotely. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain broad experience across various accounting functions. You will assist the Senior Accountant and Finance Manager with daily accounting tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of the finance department. The successful candidate will be adaptable, proactive, and eager to contribute to a well-organized and efficient remote finance function. Key Responsibilities Assist in processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely. Support the preparation of financial reports, including bank reconciliations and journal entries. Help maintain the accuracy of the general ledger and subsidiary ledgers. Assist with payroll processing and related filings. Provide administrative support to the finance team as needed. Participate in month-end and year-end closing procedures under supervision. Requirements Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a relevant field. At least 2-3 years of experience in an accounting support role. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
