Medication Technician - Med Tech

Medication Technician Opening in Tallahassee

Multiple shifts available. Credit given for experience.

At Tapestry Senior Living of Lakeshore, you'll help residents manage their daily medications and get to know them well enough to notice when something's off.

What you'll do:

• Safely and accurately pass medications to residents, managing a large med pass of 20 or more residents per shift.
• Document in the eMAR system
• Assist with activities of daily living, including hygiene, dressing, and mobility
• Monitor residents for changes and promptly report concerns
• Support the care team with shift coordination and communication
• Maintain a clean, safe environment aligned with care plans and state guidelines

What you'll need:

• Active Medication Technician Certificate
• 12 years of Med Tech experience in a senior care or medical setting, preferred
• Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety protocols
• Ability to follow care plans, communicate effectively, and document clearly
• Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to respectful resident care

• $15.00$17.00/hour, with credit given for experience

Schedule: Part-time | Shifts available 7:00 AM3:00 PM, 3:00 PM11:00 PM, and 11:00 PM7:00 AM. Full-time | Shift hours 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM. Rotating weekends and holidays required for all shifts.
