Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments for patients and their families to evaluate emotional, social, and environmental factors affecting their diagnosis and treatment.

• Develop and implement customized treatment plans using appropriate social work interventions that address the unique needs of each patient.

• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians and nurses, to create and execute discharge plans that support patients’ ongoing recovery after treatment.

• Provide essential education and counseling to patients and families to help them understand and adapt to the patient's illness, treatment options, and life changes.

• Utilize various therapeutic modalities, including crisis intervention and both brief and long-term individual or group therapies, to support patients effectively.

• Serve as a key resource for other staff members, offering guidance and expertise in complex clinical situations.

• Facilitate communication with third-party payers and coordinate care with other healthcare providers to enhance the continuity of care.

• Participate in on-call rotations to address after-hours patient needs and concerns.
\n
• Engage with community resources and contribute to system improvements for services aiding cancer survivors and other at-risk populations.

• Contribute to system-wide initiatives, participate in professional development activities, and present at educational conferences as a leader in psychosocial care.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time LCSW position offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and skills.
