Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, which include psychosocial evaluations, diagnostic interviews, and risk assessments to help establish a client's current mental health status.

• Develop individualized treatment plans in partnership with clients that consider their specific goals, treatment needs, and cultural backgrounds.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT) within individual, couple, family, and group settings.

• Provide crisis intervention services, working collaboratively with a diverse multidisciplinary team, to ensure continuity of care and timely support for clients experiencing acute distress.

• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory guidelines, including treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
\n
• Empower clients and their families through psychoeducation, enhancing their understanding of mental health conditions and strategies for effective management.
\n
• Conduct regular evaluation of treatment outcomes, adjusting care plans as necessary based on client progress and emerging needs.

• Stay informed about the latest research, best practices, and trends in the mental health field to continually enhance your clinical practice.

• Uphold the highest ethical standards, ensuring client confidentiality and professional integrity in all interactions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily support clients in a detox and recovery setting, many of whom are navigating significant life challenges related to substance use and co-occurring mental health issues. Your approach will require sensitivity and adaptability, utilizing culturally informed practices to build trust and effectively meet each client's individual needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work is required.

• Active licensing as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the state of Massachusetts.

Compensation and Benefits\n
