Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and evaluations using established tools, such as the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, to determine patient needs and formulate an individualized plan of care.

• Regularly monitoring and documenting patient progress, employing evidence-based practices to enhance treatment effectiveness and mental well-being.

• Collaborating with patients, their families, and other healthcare providers to develop and implement culturally sensitive treatment plans that address specific needs and desired outcomes.

• Maintaining timely and accurate treatment records and documentation, adhering to regulatory standards and departmental procedures.

• Fostering a supportive therapeutic relationship by providing psychoeducation and interventions designed to alleviate symptoms and promote recovery.

• Coordinating referrals and liaising with additional service providers to ensure continuity of care and a holistic approach to health management.

• Offering mentorship and educational support to interns, students, and new team members to cultivate growth within the clinical setting.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily serve individuals and families impacted by cancer diagnoses. You will address a variety of emotional struggles, including anxiety, depression, and adjustment issues associated with their health challenges. Your interventions will aim to foster resilience and provide coping strategies to enhance their quality of life and mental health stability.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A current, valid State License as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with the following experience will be given preference:

Compensation and Benefits\n
