Key Responsibilities\n

• Foster responsive parenting skills by actively engaging with caregivers to understand family values, concerns, and individual children's social and emotional needs. Provide positive and constructive feedback to enhance caregiver confidence.

• Deliver evidence-based treatment modalities for various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, end-of-life issues, addictions, and coping mechanisms for chronic pain, addressing both social and interpersonal concerns.

• Provide expert consultations to other healthcare professionals, promoting integrated treatment approaches that prioritize patient-centered care.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant medical documentation and regulatory standards, maintaining clear and accurate records of client interactions and treatment plans.

• Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to measure progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary, utilizing various therapeutic methods tailored to individual client needs.

• Stay informed about emerging research and best practices in the field of social work and mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on individuals and families, particularly those dealing with the complexities of mental health in the context of a detox setting. Understanding the unique challenges that families of young children face is critical, and a willingness to learn and engage with diverse populations is a must.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field.

• Valid and independently licensed in Washington State as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).
