Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individualized mental health counseling services to youth and young adults, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to identify emotional and behavioral health needs and recommend appropriate treatment interventions.

• Implement and adapt behavioral therapy techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing, to effectively address identified mental health issues.

• Maintain meticulous medical documentation that adheres to HIPAA regulations and ensure the confidentiality of patient information.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and nurses, to create cohesive and comprehensive care plans.

• Continuously update your knowledge of mental health best practices, participating in professional development and training opportunities to enhance therapeutic skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The client population you will serve primarily consists of youth and young adults facing challenges such as substance use disorders, co-occurring mental health disorders, and social-emotional difficulties. Your role is crucial in guiding and empowering these individuals towards recovery. You will work closely with this demographic to develop strategies that address their unique experiences and foster resilience in the face of adversity.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• An active Washington state license as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) is mandatory.

• At least two years of experience working directly with youth and/or young adults diagnosed with mental health disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n
