Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments of clients entering the detox program, identifying their personal history, presenting issues, and any underlying mental health concerns.

• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that not only address immediate mental health needs but also support long-term recovery and community reintegration.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and trauma-informed care, providing both individual and group therapy sessions.

• Facilitate therapeutic groups focused on emotional regulation and coping strategies, aiming to empower clients to address and manage their mental health challenges effectively.

• Work closely with a team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and psychiatric nurse practitioners, to ensure a comprehensive approach to mental health treatment.

• Respond promptly to mental health crises, utilizing de-escalation techniques and making necessary referrals to higher levels of care when situations warrant.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress in alignment with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in regular team meetings and case reviews to share insights and strengthen collaborative efforts toward patient care.

• Stay abreast of changing laws, regulations, and best practices in mental health service delivery, particularly within the detox and correctional settings.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LICSW within our detox center, your primary focus will be on individuals facing substance use disorders and mental health challenges. These clients often come from diverse backgrounds and can exhibit a wide range of emotional, psychological, and behavioral issues stemming from their incarceration, socioeconomic factors, and personal histories. Your skills will empower them to navigate their recovery process effectively and prepare for reintegration into their communities.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid LICSW licensure in the state of Washington.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in mental health, particularly in crisis situations.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
