Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for clients at the Detox Center, incorporating their personal history, mental health concerns, and substance use issues.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with measurable goals, designed to address specific mental health challenges and facilitate recovery.

• Apply evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and trauma-focused therapy, to support clients in their journey towards improved mental health.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that encourage self-exploration, emotional regulation, and the development of effective coping mechanisms.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, involving psychiatrists, nurses, and substance use counselors, to ensure comprehensive care for each client.

• Provide crisis intervention services by applying de-escalation techniques and assessing situations that require immediate intervention or referral to higher care levels.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health disorders, treatment strategies, and resources available to them post-treatment.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, adhering to legal and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in ongoing training and multidisciplinary team meetings to enhance collaboration and ensure adherence to best practices.

• Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines to adapt best practices within the correctional and detox settings.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid LICSW licensure in Washington State.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
