Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, utilizing evidence-based tools to evaluate the mental health status of clients entering detox.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions focusing on enhancing coping skills, emotional regulation, and relapse prevention strategies.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, available treatments, and coping strategies, empowering them through knowledge and support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on clients in a detox facility, many of whom may be facing substance use disorders and accompanying mental health challenges. This role requires empathy, understanding, and the ability to foster a trusting therapeutic relationship with clients from diverse backgrounds. Your expertise in treating individuals struggling with addiction and co-occurring disorders will be critical in guiding them through their recovery journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) is required, along with an active Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) certification in the state of Washington.

• Two years of hands-on clinical psychotherapy experience, particularly in settings that involve substance use and mental health therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
