As an LICSW, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality psychosocial assessments, interventions, and discharge planning that cater to the unique needs of our patients and their families.

This position is primarily remote, enabling you to work from the comfort of your own home while still maintaining close connections to our detox center. Utilizing telehealth technologies, you will provide essential services to individuals undergoing treatment. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct psychosocial assessments to evaluate emotional, social, and environmental factors impacting patients' diagnoses and life circumstances.

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans using evidence-based social work interventions.
\n
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians and nursing staff, to create an optimized discharge plan for each patient.
\n
• Provide education and counseling to patients and their families about coping mechanisms and adjustments related to their illness or life situations.
\n
• Utilize various therapeutic modalities, including crisis intervention, brief and long-term individual therapy, as well as group and family therapies when necessary.

• Participate in the on-call rotation to respond to after-hours patient needs and consultations.
\n
• Facilitate involuntary examinations under the Baker Act when clinically necessary, ensuring patients receive timely care at receiving facilities.
\n
• Engage in community service and educational outreach to promote available resources for cancer survivors and those affected by mental health challenges.
\n
• Provide guidance and education to other healthcare professionals regarding psychosocial care best practices.
\n
• Present at educational conferences as a subject matter expert, contributing to the advancement in the field of psychosocial oncology.

In this role, you will primarily focus on patients dealing with substance use disorders and associated mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

Big Cedar Counseling Services offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 – 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
