Work Environment\n

This position offers a remote work environment, allowing you to engage with clients from the convenience of your home while remaining connected to a supportive team. As a member of our Primary Care Behavioral Health team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering care that emphasizes collaboration and informed decision-making, using advanced telehealth technologies to interact with students, families, and school staff.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide effective clinical services to children and families based on best practice standards, utilizing evidence-based treatment models. This includes assessing client needs, developing personalized treatment plans, and conducting therapy sessions via telehealth.

• Collaborate with educational institutions, social service agencies, and healthcare providers to ensure a seamless continuum of care for individuals experiencing mental health challenges. This team-focused approach may involve actively participating in Multi-Disciplinary Team meetings.
\n
• Empower clients by assisting them in accessing resources and educational information that support their personal autonomy and address basic needs. This may include connecting families with food, housing, and educational services.
\n
• Monitor clients' progress concerning Legal Risk Assessments (LRA) to ensure ongoing compliance and facilitate required extensions with the Community Response Team (CRT) and relevant court personnel.
\n

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on children and families from diverse cultural and socio-economic backgrounds, including underserved populations and those experiencing housing instability. You will be tasked with addressing various mental health issues, guiding clients through challenges, and providing the necessary support to improve their social and emotional well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A valid Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) designation in Washington State.
\n
• A minimum of 3 years of direct clinical experience working with children and families in a behavioral health or social services setting.
\n
• Specialized training or experience in integrated behavioral health assessment and treatment within a primary care environment; training will be provided for those new to this practice.
\n
• Knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, and private insurance plans, with a strong understanding of the implications for client care.
\n
• A demonstrated ability to engage effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds, showing sensitivity and respect in your interactions.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience working with unhoused populations and an understanding of the barriers they face.
\n
• Familiarity with CANS (Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths) assessment tools, with the ability to obtain certification within two months of hire.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation range for this role is between $100,000 to $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive salary, we offer an extensive benefits package that includes:
