Systems Engineering Manager (Level K)Boeing Space Mission Systems (SMS) Experimental Systems Group (ESG) is seeking a highly skilled professional to serve as a Systems Engineering Manager (Level K) to join our team in one of the following locations:Seal Beach, CAEl Segundo, CAColorado Springs, COOur multi-disciplinary team focuses on rapid development to demonstrate a host of next-generation, mission-focused technologies, products and services for a variety of customers. Position Responsibilities:Oversee and invest in a top talent multi-disciplined systems engineering teamSupport modernization and automation of heritage mission integration and test processes and productsDrive alignment to the roadmap vision, while automating to reduce operational costs and increasing qualityContribute to technical and cost baselines of proposals and bids for future architecture activitiesSupport architecture and technical trades for program decisions and future businessManage resources, schedules, and staffing to execute concurrent programsCultivate a culture of respect, transparency, excellence, inspiration, and funTo be considered for this position you will be required to complete an assessment as part of the selection process. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statementThis position requires an active Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course "Exploring Leadership."2+ years of experience on space programs2+ years of experience with system software integration and testPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):2+ years of experience leading teamsExperience with satellite operationsExperience with agile developmentExperience leading fast paced development efforts with government customers.Experience integrating multiple complex systems into customer-constrained architecturesSolid understanding of staffing, cost, schedule, and RIO managementExperience with DevSecOps, industry standards, processes and tools, CI/CD pipelinesAbility to manage teams on multiple significant program efforts simultaneouslyPay & Benefits: At Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
