Description

• Conduct patient evaluations in either inpatient or outpatient settings, crafting personalized treatment plans
• Deliver physical therapy treatments aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and functionality
• Work closely with nurses, physicians, case managers, and therapy teams to maximize patient recovery
• Guide patients and their families through therapeutic goals, discharge strategies, and home exercises
• Maintain thorough documentation of evaluations, treatments, and progress in accordance with established guidelines
• Engage in interdisciplinary conferences and care team discussions to ensure comprehensive patient care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or a comparable degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

• State licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification preferred
• Specialized certifications (e.g., in geriatrics, neurology) are advantageous, though not essential
