We offer three distinct models, allowing you to customize your schedule:
- GI Hospitalist Model
- 7 days on / 7 days off
- Focus on inpatient consults and endoscopy
- 24-hour call during work weeks (approximately 24 weeks per year)
- Optional outpatient endoscopy available
- Hybrid Inpatient / Outpatient Model
- Mainly inpatient coverage
- Includes ambulatory endoscopy in a modern ASC
- Offers a balanced clinical variety with predictable scheduling
- Outpatient / Ambulatory Model
- 3-4 days dedicated to outpatient endoscopy
- 1-2 clinic days each week
- Minimal inpatient call coverage
- Coverage for a large, high-acuity hospital with full specialty support
- Dedicated endoscopy suite with 24/7 nursing and technical assistance
- 24/7 anesthesia availability for propofol procedures
- Access to advanced endoscopy equipment (ERCP/EUS welcomed but not mandatory)
- Strong support from Nurse Practitioners and Medical Assistants in both inpatient and outpatient settings
- Utilization of EPIC EMR for documentation and ProVation for procedures
- Infusion services available for IBD and specialty therapies
- A vibrant, affordable waterfront city featuring historic neighborhoods and modern conveniences
- Rich arts scene, including the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, museums, and theaters
- Food-centric culture with award-winning restaurants, fresh seafood, and farmers markets
- Convenient access to beaches, hiking, sailing, and various outdoor activities
- 30-40 minutes from Washington, D.C.
- Proximity to two major international airports
- Central location to NYC, Philadelphia, and the Mid-Atlantic region
