Event Coordinator - Entry Level

Our client, a leading organization in the technology and event management industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to join their team. As an Event Coordinator, you will be an essential part of the Events and Marketing department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent organizational skills, proactive communication, and a passion for creating memorable events, aligning successfully within a dynamic and inclusive work environment.

Job Title: Event Coordinator

Location: 5380 Tech Data Dr, Clearwater, FL

Pay Range: $25-29/hr

Event Coordinator Role (2-3+ years' experience)

What's the Job?

• Assist in managing logistics associated with events and trade shows including retroplanning, timeline management, product ordering, and venue research

• Support communication with third-party vendors such as production agencies, venues, florists, photographers, A/V companies, and entertainment providers

• Liaise with cross-functional teams including Digital, Marketing, Education, and Creative to ensure project alignment, accuracy, and timeliness

• Manage the schedule of all active projects and ensure deadlines are met

• Support communication with internal teams and global markets by cascading information and fielding inquiries

What's Needed?

• Prior experience with event planning and logistics, with a focus on trade show coordination preferred

• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Strong adherence to timelines and deadlines

• Excellent interpersonal and effective communication skills

• Proactive, highly organized, and detail-oriented approach to work
