Senior Design EngineerSeeking an experienced Senior Design Engineer who thrives on innovation, enjoys solving complex engineering problems, and wants to see their ideas become reality.If you're passionate about designing heavy equipment, collaborating with talented teams, and making a lasting impact, we'd love to meet you.As our Senior Design Engineer, you'll lead the design and development of customized off-highway haul truck products from concept through production.Design innovative, customer-specific heavy equipment solutions using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD.Partner directly with customers to understand their applications, performance requirements, and operating environments.Collaborate with Production to ensure designs are manufacturable, practical, and efficient.Improve existing products through engineering analysis, innovation, and new technologies.Develop Bills of Materials (BOMs) and engineering documentation.Perform load profile assessments and engineering simulations.Review and approve engineering drawings created by other designers.Support Sales by creating proposal drawings for prospective customers.Assist with research and development initiatives and patent documentation.Use advanced measurement technology, including LIDAR systems, to capture accurate field data.Mentor and train fellow engineers while helping shape engineering standards and best practices.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering disciplineStrong experience with 3D CAD software (Autodesk Inventor preferred)Solid understanding of mechanical design and manufacturing processesExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilitiesStrong collaboration and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple projects while maintaining exceptional attention to detailWillingness to travel occasionally, both domestically and internationallyTechnical excellence with creativity and strong communication skills.Preferred Qualifications:Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or actively pursuing licensureExperience designing heavy equipment, mining equipment, or other large fabricated productsExperience working directly with manufacturing and production teams
