Design Engineer

Overview Design and development role with emphasis on design, simulation, and supplier management. Proficiency in CAD/Simulation tools and PDM systems is required. Strong communication and autonomous work capability are expected. Responsibilities (inferred) Apply simulation-led design to iterate concepts quickly based on analysis results. Develop concepts with a solid mechanical aptitude and understanding of manufacturability. Engage in design and development activities across the product lifecycle, including production handoff. Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to ensure design criteria are met. Must have skills 50% Design / 50% Testing would be ideal; some element of test experience is positive. Not required to be a test engineer, but familiarity with the testing process is beneficial. Strong design engineering capability with the ability to meet or beat deadlines. Ability to own concept development from initial idea to production. Supplier management, simulation testing experience, and design engineering experience.
