Caterpillar’s company strategy includes sustainability as one of four focus areas and IPSD is engaged and actively preparing green energy solutions for the future.  Role DefinitionWe are seeking a Design Engineering Specialist. This person will focus on designing, developing, building, and implementing new products, components, or technologies. You will be responsible for helping design and troubleshoot 7L-9L inline-6 diesel engine systems for use in machines, gensets, and external engine sales opportunities.What You Will Do:Develop design parameters, performance characteristics, and technical specifications of products and components that satisfy customer needs and advance safety, quality, velocity and cost.Guiding the evolution of the technical design, technical project planning, detail design, and development testing. Summary Pay Range:$128,470.00 - $192,710.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
