Job Description:


A full-time opportunity is available for an OB Hospitalist to join a growing women's health program within a modern hospital setting. This role focuses on providing inpatient obstetric care in a team-based environment, working alongside physicians, midwives, and advanced practice providers. The position offers a structured schedule designed to promote work-life balance, along with access to strong specialty support and state-of-the-art facilities.



Shift / Schedule:

• Full-time position
• 7 shifts per month (24-hour shifts)
• Hospital-based schedule with no outpatient responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive inpatient obstetric care, including labor and delivery management
• Evaluate and manage obstetric patients in the hospital setting
• Respond to obstetric emergencies and provide timely interventions
• Collaborate with midwives, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary teams
• Support deliveries and ensure continuity of care for hospitalized patients
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation using EMR systems
• Deliver high-quality, compassionate, patient-centered care
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives

Requirements:

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an accredited Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Ability to obtain an unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license
• DEA certification
• Strong clinical and decision-making skills in obstetric care
• Commitment to team-based, patient-centered care
