IT Services Coordinator

Department Florida State University Department of Information Technology Services (ITS) Responsibilities Acts as the first point of contact for students, faculty, staff, and constituents requesting support for technologies provided by ITS. Manages and processes service requests and work orders, ensuring proper handling by ITS service providers and staff. Works within the Service Desk Fulfillment team to coordinate installation, changes, and updates for networking configurations, access/security systems, telephone services, voicemail, cable TV, data lines, videoconferencing, cellular services, mobile devices, and directory/E911 updates. Ensures data integrity and quality control for the order processing system, translates user needs into standard telecommunications language, coordinates resources to meet fulfillment timelines, oversees billing accuracy, and follows up with customers to ensure satisfaction. Generates and interprets reporting tools to identify and correct errors, and designs management reports to support all functions. Conducts onsite customer visits, user training, and follow‑up, recommends and coordinates enhancements based on customer feedback, and maintains strong customer relationships. Serves as a liaison with vendors, campus departments, and internal/external customers. May lead or participate in special projects to implement or enhance ITS products and services. Performs other duties as requested in compliance with ITS policies and standards. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalency and four years of experience, or a combination of post‑high school education and experience equal to four years. A valid Florida or Georgia driver’s license or the ability to obtain one. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in CRM systems and AiM Work Order Management.
