About the Role: We are hiring a Chief of Staff to serve as a true execution partner to the President and CEO during a period of rapid growth, operational complexity, and organizational transformation. This is not a ceremonial or purely strategic role. The Chief of Staff will act as the central execution engine and operating backbone of the executive office — driving alignment, accountability, and results across every major function of the company. You will work across Operations, Sales, Customer Experience, Finance, People, Product, Marketplace, and Infrastructure to ensure that priorities are clearly defined, initiatives are tightly managed, and leadership teams deliver against commitments. Responsibilities: Executive Team Leadership and Company Strategy: Serve as the President's right-hand operator, helping translate priorities into clear plans, sequencing work, and ensuring follow-through across the portfolio Act as the connective glue across business lines and leaders, driving alignment, resolving blockers, and pushing decisions to closure in a fast-paced environment Elevate the effectiveness of key meetings and rhythms by setting tight agendas, ensuring the right stakeholders and inputs are present, and driving crisp action items and accountability after each touchpoint Operations: Build and continuously refine the operating cadence that reduces chaos and increases leverage for the President and CEO (e.g., weekly priorities, leadership check-ins, cross-business reviews, and quarterly planning) Track progress across multiple parallel initiatives and stakeholders; surfacing risks early, unblocking execution, and creating reliable mechanisms for follow-through Identify and implement practical process improvements that increase speed, clarity, and coordination across teams, while staying hands-on with both high- and low-glamour work Temporarily own and build new functions or initiatives (e.g., hiring, vendor transition, early execution), then transition ownership to functional leaders once operationally stable Communications: Support clear, direct communication from the President to leaders and teams, ensuring priorities, expectations, and decisions are understood and acted on Prepare high-quality executive materials and narratives for internal leadership moments and external/community-facing initiatives (e.g., updates, reviews, offsites, events) Create lightweight, repeatable communication systems that keep stakeholders aligned without adding unnecessary bureaucracy (e.g., updates, recap notes, action trackers) Profile High-drive, resourceful "get it done" operator; comfortable pushing through blockers ("move mountains") Hands-on doer mentality; willing to own both strategic and non-glamorous work Strong technology orientation; comfortable working directly with data, dashboards, and analytical tools (e.g., SQL, BI platforms) to drive decisions Demonstrated executive presence and high EQ working across senior stakeholders Comfortable juggling many parallel workstreams with tight deadlines and high ownership 25% Travel Core Capabilities Elite execution & ownership — you take responsibility and make things happen Strong analytical judgment — you use data to drive decisions and challenge assumptions Executive presence — credible with senior leaders, operators, and external stakeholders Program management excellence — you bring structure to chaos Adaptability — thrives in fast-moving, imperfect environment Qualifications: 6–12+ years in roles such as: Consulting Strategy & operations Program management High-growth startups Finance / investment roles with operational exposure Proven ability to drive cross-functional priorities to completion in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment Strong financial and P&L literacy Strong project/program management skills (planning, dependencies, timelines, follow-through) Excellent written and verbal communication; able to create executive-ready updates and materials Strong Microsoft Office / Google Workspace skills 25% Travel Compensation & Benefits: Unlimited PTO and paid holidays Competitive salary: Base Salary starting at $180,000 Additional compensation: bonus available, but dependent on experience level Medical/Dental/Vision offered to all full-time employees: 75% of employee premiums paid by Nabis. 401(k) plan with a match.
