Operations Specialist – Account Manager

Direct Hire

Rome, GA | 100% Onsite

Monday–Friday |Payrate: $60K–$70K a year

100% Family Medical Coverage Paid

Hiring an Operations Specialist – Account Manager for a well-established manufacturing and industrial distribution company in Rome, GA.

We're looking for an organized, proactive professional who can manage customer orders, suppliers, inventory, purchasing, logistics, and ERP data while keeping operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage customer purchase orders, forecasts, and demand schedules.
• Coordinate orders, inventory, suppliers, and shipments.
• Monitor shortages and expedite materials when needed.
• Coordinate domestic and international logistics.
• Maintain accurate ERP, customer, pricing, and inventory data.
• Prepare reports and shipping documentation, including ASNs.
• Partner with Sales, Purchasing, Warehouse, Quality, Accounting, and Operations.
• Support process improvements and special projects.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years in operations, logistics, purchasing, manufacturing, or supply chain.
• ERP experience; Microsoft Dynamics/Navision is a plus.
• Strong Excel, Word, and Outlook skills.
• Excellent organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Automotive/manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
• Experience in automotive manufacturing, OEM/Tier 1 or Tier 2 suppliers, automotive parts, or industrial manufacturing is highly preferred.
