We are seeking a Senior Manager, LC-MS Bioanalysis to lead our Method Development and Validation functions, providing strategic and operational leadership within a fast-paced, regulated bioanalytical environment.In this role, you will oversee teams responsible for developing, validating, and troubleshooting LC-MS/MS bioanalytical methods that support pharmaceutical clients worldwide. You will combine people leadership, scientific expertise, and client management to deliver high-quality results, drive innovation, and support the continued growth of the organization.Job Responsibilities:Leadership & People ManagementLead and develop teams of bioanalytical scientists focused on LC-MS method development and validation.Provide performance management, coaching, career development, and succession planning for direct reports.Establish training plans and ensure team readiness for current and future business needs.Lead recruitment, onboarding, and retention initiatives for scientific staff.Foster a collaborative, accountable, and inclusive team culture.Scientific & Technical LeadershipServe as a subject matter expert in LC-MS/MS bioanalysis.Provide technical guidance for method development, method transfer, troubleshooting, validation, and sample analysis activities.Support internal teams and clients through scientific consultation and problem-solving.Stay current with emerging bioanalytical technologies, regulatory expectations, and industry best practices.Partner with commercial and project teams on study strategy, feasibility assessments, and client interactions.Operational ExcellenceEnsure laboratory activities are appropriately resourced, scheduled, and executed to meet client timelines.Monitor departmental metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.Support forecasting, project costing, and revenue recognition activities.Ensure compliance with GLP, GCP, SOPs, quality standards, and safety requirements.Lead corrective and preventive actions as needed to address operational or client concerns.Client EngagementBuild and maintain strong relationships with pharmaceutical clients.Participate in sponsor meetings, scientific discussions, and business development activities.Represent the organization at scientific conferences and industry events.QualificationsMinimum RequirementsBachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related scientific discipline.Significant experience, 5 years or more in regulated LC-MS bioanalysis, including method development and validation.5 years or more of demonstrated success leading scientific teams in a regulated laboratory environment.3 years or more experience working in a GLP, GCP, and bioanalytical regulatory requirements role.Preferred QualificationsAdvanced degree (MS or PhD) in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related scientific discipline.6 years or more of experience managing people leaders in larger scientific organizations.5 years or more previous client-facing experience within a CRO or pharmaceutical setting.6 years or more experience driving operational improvements, business metrics, and laboratory productivity initiatives.Documented scientific publications, conference presentations, or recognized technical expertise in bioanalysis.Additional Job Skills Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.GLP/GCP and bioanalytical regulatory requirements experience.Why Join Us?Lead a highly skilled team of bioanalytical scientists.Influence strategy, innovation, and business growth.Work with cutting-edge LC-MS technologies supporting drug development programs.Engage with global clients and industry leaders.Enjoy comprehensive benefits, professional development opportunities, and a collaborative culture focused on scientific excellence.Salary: $130,000 – 160,000 annuallyAll job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.The position is also eligible for an annual bonus under the Labcorp Bonus Plan.(Bonuses are payable based on corporate and/or business segment performance and are subject to individual performance modifiers.)Application Window: Position will be posted 7/27/26 thru 8/16/26.BenefitsEmployees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
