What You'll Do

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in an inpatient behavioral health setting
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and update patient care plans
• Monitor patient safety, assess needs, and document findings accurately
• Assist in managing crises and de-escalation as needed
• Educate patients and families about treatment and discharge plans
• Maintain a safe, secure, and therapeutic environment
• Support staff and demonstrate leadership, potentially serving as charge nurse

What You Need

• Valid Michigan RN license
• BLS certification required; CPI or additional behavioral health certifications preferred
• Minimum 1 year of inpatient or behavioral health nursing experience
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work overnight shifts and adapt to a fast-paced environment
