Accounting Intern

You'll work directly with our Corporate Controller and gain hands‑on experience supporting a growing real estate investment company with businesses spanning hospitality, construction, development, and corporate operations. This role provides exposure to multi‑entity accounting, financial reporting, debt management, and month‑end close while giving you the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects that support the business. Whether you're pursuing a degree in Accounting or Finance and looking to build practical experience, this internship is designed to help you develop skills that translate directly into your career. What You'll Do As an Accounting Intern, you'll assist with a variety of accounting and finance responsibilities, including: Supporting accounts payable and accounts receivable processes Assisting with cash and bank reconciliations across multiple entities Building and maintaining supporting accounting schedules Assisting with general ledger reconciliations and monthly close activities Helping track company debt, loan balances, and financial covenant reporting Supporting intercompany invoicing and cost allocations across multiple businesses Pulling and organizing financial data for reporting and analysis Assisting the Corporate Controller with financial reporting, special projects, and process improvements You'll gain exposure to multiple accounting systems and work with experienced professionals who will help you build a strong foundation in corporate accounting and finance. What We're Looking For Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment Desire to learn and take ownership of your work Preferred (but not required) Exposure to Sage Intacct, NetSuite, or similar ERP systems Interest in real estate, hospitality, or multi‑entity accounting Why West77 Partners?
