Part-time Laboratory AssistantsCenter for Reproductive Medicine is a premier medical practice specializing in the comprehensive evaluation and treatment of infertility, providing each patient “every conceivable chance for success.” Our Minneapolis state-of-the-art laboratory is currently seeking two (2) part-time Laboratory Assistants to work alongside our Andrology and Embryology teams.College students looking for healthcare experience are encouraged to apply! Following training, you will be scheduled to rotate between Andrology and Embryology departments.When working in Andrology, you will:Check in patients at department front deskSchedule appointmentsAnswer andrology phonesProcess related paperworkPotential to serve as backup phlebotomistWhen working in Embryology, you will:Set-up and assist the physician during egg retrieval proceduresAutoclave instrumentsQuality control of lab supplies and equipmentPart-time Hours:20 – 24 hours per week7:00 – 11:00 am or 11:30 am – 3:30 pm; willing to work with school schedule when necessaryEvery 3rd weekend rotation working 7:00 – 11:00 am once fully trainedWhat we’re looking for:High School diploma/GED requiredSome college courses in biological or health sciences or medical technologist/medical laboratory science focus preferredAt least 1 year experience in a healthcare settingPrevious/current phlebotomy skills and experience highly desired, but not requiredAbility to work in a fast-paced clinic environment and handle multiple tasks with a detail oriented approachAbility to remain calm under pressureStrong communication and interpersonal skillsDesire and ability to thrive in a team environmentAbout UsCenter for Reproductive Medicine (CRM), a physician owned and managed private practice, provides the highest quality of professional reproductive services in the Midwest and is a leader in reproductive medicine.
