- Develop detailed 3D models and engineering drawings using SolidWorks, ensuring compliance with both industry standards and internal company design guidelines.
- Perform reverse engineering of obsolete airborne and ground-based systems to support system sustainment, upgrades, or replacement efforts.
- Troubleshoot mechanical or electromechanical systems using root cause analysis tools and methodologies.
- Write and review technical documentation relating to users, systems, standards, processes, operations, products, and services.
- Collaborate with project management, manufacturing, and engineering teams to support project planning, scheduling, and milestone tracking.
- Work in lab spaces to facilitate or support fabrication, operation, application, installation, and/or repair of mechanical products.
- Roles and responsibilities will vary based on candidate's experience.
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (or similar degree) from an ABET accredited school
- US Citizen
- Ability to obtain a security clearance
- Minimum of two (2) years' experience in a related field.
- Engineer in Training Certificate or Licensed Professional Engineer
- Proficient with SolidWorks and GD&T application
- Experience with Cameo Systems Modeler
- Experience with ANSYS or other Finite Element Analysis software
- Experience with military standards and processes
- Skilled at written and oral communication
