Maintenance Technician II

SCHEDULE 40 hours, Monday - Friday 7:30- 4:00 with availability for on call rotation once per month. PAYS $24.40 - $29.00per hour DOE (Salary ranges provided are based on relevant experience and skill set) LOCATION: 151-155 Geneva Avenue, Dorchester MA, SUMMARY OF THE POSITION: The Maintenance Technician II is responsible for but not limited to the day-to-day maintenance including grounds work, plumbing, minor electrical work, basic carpentry, troubleshooting H.V.A.C and food service equipment, wall repair, Building Engine PM, painting, special projects and seasonal snow removal. Requirements QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION/TRAINING: REQUIRED: High School Diploma or GED Ability to read printed labels and instructions PREFERRED: Hoisting License Certification or basic training certification in Building Maintenance Bilingual English/Spanish KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE: REQUIRED: Minimum of three (3) years of maintenance experience Knowledge of building trades such as painting, plumbing, carpentry and electrical systems PREFERRED: Previous experience in Building Maintenance Building System software work order Program PHYSICAL ABILITIES/SKILLS: REQUIRED: Frequent bending, standing, stooping, stretching, and lifting Ability to lift heavy objects 50 - 100 lbs. assisted, such as appliances and furniture Ability to climb stairs and ladders and access all areas of the buildings Ability to respond quickly to emergency situations Participate in the Emergency On Call Rotation once per month Operate equipment and deliver 12-passenger vans and box trucks for maintenance during winter season #J-18808-Ljbffr
